Nissan announces 2026 Leaf pricing, starting at $29,990
Briefly

The Leaf SV+ includes enhancements such as larger wheels, an upgraded infotainment system, and an optional battery heater for cold climates, priced at $34,230. This is almost $2,000 less than the upcoming model-year 2025 SV+. The Platinum+ trim, equipped similarly to the S+ and SV+ but with more standard features, starts at $38,990. A new entry-level Leaf, called the S, will have a smaller 52 kWh battery and is expected next year, likely undercutting the target price of $30,000 amid tariff challenges.
The Leaf SV+ adds bigger wheels and a better infotainment system, and it can be fitted with an optional battery heater for those in cold climates.
The top trim is the Platinum+, which has an identical powertrain to the S+ and SV+, but with much more standard equipment.
There will be an even cheaper Leaf than the S+, called the S, which uses a smaller 52 kWh battery pack and is expected next year.
The entry-level Leaf is likely to undercut the $30,000 benchmark by some margin, despite tariff-related challenges.
