Rhydian Jones, motoring expert at Confused.com, mentioned that car theft adds significant stress and financial burden due to rising insurance costs, urging drivers to take precautions.
To avoid becoming a victim of car theft, drivers are advised to ensure their vehicles are locked, hide valuables, and invest in security features like tracking devices.
Despite high theft rates, nearly 90% of those who reported car theft in Romford had their vehicles recovered, with police recovering 62% of them.
