Kia's U.S. EV Sales More Than Doubled In June And Q2 2024

Kia reported 65,929 vehicle sales in the U.S. in June, down 6.5% year-over-year. In contrast, all-electric car sales surged, with Kia EV6, EV9, and Niro EV showing significant growth.
During Q2 2024, Kia's U.S. all-electric car sales hit a record 17,980 units, up 131% year-over-year. The E-GMP-based EV6 and EV9 contributed remarkably to this growth, with over 20,600 models sold.
Year-to-date, Kia sold 29,392 all-electric cars in the U.S., demonstrating a remarkable 112% increase compared to the previous year. These sales include a significant number of E-GMP-based models like the EV6 and EV9.
