This week, the U.K.'s National Vehicle Crime Intelligence Service announced the return of 35 stolen luxury cars, valued at over $7.7 million, through Operation Titanium.
Returning them took years of work and fantastic assistance from Thai authorities, as vehicles stolen via fraudulent finance agreements were shipped to Bangkok.
One owner, whose Lamborghini Huracán Spyder was stolen, nearly lost his vehicle hire company due to the theft, showcasing the impact of such crimes.
The heist was executed through 'hire-purchase agreements,' leading to the disappearance of numerous high-end vehicles, with five still missing.
