Geely already controls Volvo and Polestar, but none of its native Chinese brands currently sell in the United States. Ash Sutcliffe identified Zeekr and Lynk & Co as good fits for American consumers. China's consumer tastes closely resemble America's, but the U.S. market cannot absorb every Geely model.
