Honda will end production of the current Acura RDX this year and pause before launching a next-generation RDX that will be the brand's first SUV with a two-motor hybrid system. The current RDX launched in 2018 and has sold nearly 740,000 units in the US. Production timing for the next-generation model was not specified. Production of an all-electric Acura RSX remains on track for the second half of the year and will be followed by the Honda Zero SUV. The Acura RSX will be built at Honda's Ohio factory and will include dual-motor all-wheel drive, sport-tuned suspension, Brembo brakes, and the ASIMO operating system. Honda bought out LG Energy's share of the Ohio plant.
