The explosion of a Tesla Cybertruck outside the Trump International Hotel in Las Vegas was contained thanks to the vehicle's robust body construction, limiting damage.
Sheriff Kevin McMahill noted that the blast was mitigated by the Cybertruck's design, stating, "The fact that this was a Cybertruck really limited the damage..."
The FBI is investigating the possible connection between the explosion at the Trump Hotel and a preceding vehicle attack in New Orleans.
Authorities revealed that the truck involved was rented in Colorado and linked to surveillance footage capturing its movements just before detonation.
