Stephanie Kramer began her career doing errands and administrative tasks, consistently saying yes to unglamorous work and arriving early to support teams. Each small assignment opened opportunities for larger responsibilities and exposure to different parts of the business. Family lessons taught her to show up with an open mind, a willing heart, and ready hands. She accepted risky international projects, including a pre-Olympics assignment in China without speaking the language. Those choices accumulated into leadership roles and ultimately a C-suite position at L'Oréal. As responsibilities grew, she learned to be selective, developing clear yeses, no's, and not-yets to focus on strategic opportunities.
