This story has stuck to me, and inspired me to ask the BuzzFeed Community to share times when a stranger stepped in to help when they needed it most.
The family had a first aid kit. They bandaged me up and took care of me while my brother went home to get my dad. I ended up getting stitches.
After being told to let the staff do their job and basically sit down and shut up, the mother approached me and my partner, and told us to leave and go to Boston to an emergency room.
