Woman charged after being found with Amber Alert, homicide suspect in Niagara Falls this week | CBC News
"A woman has been charged after being found with the man who earlier this week prompted an Amber Alert after allegedly killing another woman in Brampton, Ont., and fleeing with his one-year-old daughter. Peel Regional Police say the woman has been charged with accessory after the fact to murder. The woman, who has ties to Brampton and Niagara Falls, was located with 38-year-old Anthony Deschepper in a Chevrolet in Niagara Falls on Wednesday."
"She was arrested at the scene, police say. Family members have identified the woman killed in Brampton as Savannah Kulla, 29. She was fatally shot in in a plaza parking lot near Queen Street E. and Airport Road shortly before 2 p.m. on Tuesday. Police have said Deschepper fled the scene in a Nissan Kicks with his child in the back seat. The child was found safe after being dropped off at relatives."
A woman has been charged with accessory after the fact to murder after being found with 38-year-old Anthony Deschepper in Niagara Falls. Deschepper allegedly killed 29-year-old Savannah Kulla and prompted an Amber Alert after fleeing with his one-year-old daughter. Kulla was fatally shot in a plaza parking lot near Queen Street E. and Airport Road shortly before 2 p.m. on Tuesday. Deschepper fled in a Nissan Kicks with the child; the child was later found safe after being dropped off at relatives. The charged woman was described as either a past or present girlfriend of Deschepper. Ontario's Special Investigations Unit reported Deschepper was shot by a Niagara Regional Police officer and later pronounced dead.
