SaltWire Network made the application in the Supreme Court of Nova Scotia, stating debts of over $94 million, with a third owed to Fiera Private Debt Fund. They owe $7 million in HST to the CRA and $2.6 million for missed pension plan payments.
The applicants have lost faith in the Companies' management team and management has displayed a repeated failure to properly manage the Companies' businesses.
