"Peel police say they have charged a 49-year-old man from Brampton, Ont., in connection with alleged online child luring. In a news release Sunday, Peel Regional Police said they arrested the man on Oct. 2 and charged him with four counts of luring a child under the age of 16. In April, Peel police's internet child exploitation unit launched an investigation into an unknown person who was allegedly using social media platforms to lure children for sexual purposes."
"Police said the man operated under several aliases online, including "Carlosperes24," "Ongoingreltinsp" and "Married4ong." The man was held for a bail hearing at the Ontario Court of Justice in Brampton, Ont. In Sunday's release, Peel police said they believe there may be more victims. They are asking anyone with information to contact police or Peel Crime Stoppers."
