Millions of Stanley travel mugs recalled due to burn hazard | CBC News
Briefly

Stanley is recalling millions of "switchback" and "trigger action" stainless steel travel mugs due to a burn hazard, where lids can detach during use.
Consumers are advised to cease usage of the mugs immediately and apply for a free replacement lid from Stanley to mitigate risk.
The recall affects over 2.6 million units in the U.S. and 184,170 in Canada, following numerous reports of burn injuries linked to the product.
Health Canada has reported one burn injury in Canada and two in the U.S., alongside several incidents where the lids detached.
