Live coverage of the 2024 Paris Olympic Games' opening ceremony begins at 1 p.m. ET on CBC, hosted by Adrienne Arsenault and Scott Russell. The ceremony will feature a six-kilometre parade along the Seine River showcasing iconic Paris monuments.
CBC's Toyota Olympic Games prime-time panel, including Andi Petrillo, Waneek Horn-Miller, Perdita Felicien, and Craig McMorris, will guide viewers through the official start of the Games. A prime-time encore broadcast will air at 7 p.m. ET and midnight ET on CBC TV and CBC Gem.
