
"Provincial police say two people are in hospital and part of Highway 400 is closed after a three-vehicle collision in Bradford, Ont., early Tuesday. The crash, which involved a tractor trailer and two passenger vehicles, happened on the highway near County Road 88 just before 4 a.m., Ontario Provincial Police Sgt. Kerry Schmidt said in a video posted on social media."
"All of the highway's northbound lanes in the area have been closed following the collision, with debris and damaged vehicles strewn across them, Schmidt said. Police have been working to turn around traffic stuck behind the crash site. Two people were taken to hospital, including an off-duty York Regional Police officer who sustained serious injuries, Schmidt said. Police are investigating at the scene Tuesday morning. Schmidt said police are working to reopen the highway as soon as possible."
