All library branches are closed and recreation programs at schools are cancelled in Toronto due to the heavy snow, said the city. It said city pools remain open on Sunday morning."
"Crews will be working around the clock to clear streets, sidewalks and bike lanes, said the city on social media, adding residents should avoid all non-essential travel. "Get groceries and medications earlier in the day, if possible and only if you have to," it said. TTC bus stops out of service, over half of Pearson flights cancelled Across the city, 48 bus stops are not in service to avoid the risk of buses getting stuck in the heavy snow, according to the TTC's website."
