Executive board members now named interim general manager of Canadian Co-operative Wool Growers

"The desktop version of the Canadian Co-operative Wool Growers' website listed Moore as the General Manager on Monday, however, today, the website lists "CCWG executive board members" as the interim general manager."

"Moore, who was president of Wool Growers, stepped in as general manager after Eric Bjergso was placed on paid leave in March 2023. Two weeks after being put on leave, Bjergso filed a $1.5 million wrongful dismissal suit against CCWG that also names Moore and Allan Ribbink."

"RealAgriculture reached out via email last week to the Wool Growers' general email account to ask about changes in leadership, but did not receive a reply. Subsequent follow up emails (2) bounced back as "blocked" by the email server."

Canadian Co-operative Wool Growers, Canada's largest wool buyer and retailer for Canadian Sheep Identification Program tags, has undergone leadership changes. Morgan Moore, who previously served as president and then general manager, is no longer in that position. The organization's website now lists executive board members as interim general manager instead of Moore. This follows earlier leadership disruptions when Eric Bjergso was placed on paid leave in March 2023, prompting Moore to assume the general manager role. Bjergso subsequently filed a $1.5 million wrongful dismissal suit against CCWG naming Moore and current president Allan Ribbink. Communication attempts regarding these changes went unanswered, with some emails blocked by the server.
