Canada file appeal over 6-point spying deduction

Canada Soccer and the Canadian Olympic Committee are appealing to CAS over the six-point deduction by FIFA for drone spying at the Olympics.
The joint appeal was formally registered with CAS in a fast-track case, with a hearing expected on Tuesday and a decision on Wednesday.
Canada, currently on 0 points, needs a resolution before their upcoming match against Colombia in the women's Olympic soccer tournament.
The coach, Bev Priestman, was also suspended for one year in addition to the points penalty following the drone spying incident.
