"A Brampton man has been arrested following two extortion related shootings in Caledon and Brampton, Peel police announced on Sunday. One suspect is still outstanding, police say. On Oct. 26, police say surveillance footage shows two people firing shots at a Caledon residence near Old School Road and Creditview Road just before 3 a.m. Earlier in the footage, one of the shooters is seen lighting fire on the resident's driveway, according to the press release."
"The second shooting happened shortly after at a business in Brampton near Advance Boulevard and Dixie Road, police said. No injuries were reported at either incident and police called the events "extortion related" in the release. A 25-year-old was arrested on Friday and is charged with arson, forging a document, firearm possession and discharging a firearm, according to police. Peel police said they are still investigating and trying to identify and locate the second suspect."
