The Bay of Quinte byelection, set for September 19, was prompted by the resignation of former minister Todd Smith, who left for a private sector role.
Ontario PCs have selected Tyler Allsopp, a Belleville city councillor since 2021, to contest the Bay of Quinte byelection.
As of now, the Ontario Liberal Party and the Ontario NDP have not nominated candidates for the upcoming byelection in Bay of Quinte.
Advance voting for the Bay of Quinte byelection begins on September 8, while mail-in voting applications must be submitted by September 13.
