3 trespassers cut power, bog down morning commute for TTC passengers on Line 2 | CBC News
"TTC passengers travelling on Line 2 Tuesday morning were in for another bogged down commute after three trespassers made it onto track level, prompting a power outage and shuttle bus service to run between Broadview and Keele stations. Toronto police say the incident happened at 7:26 a.m. Tuesday morning. Regular service resumed on Line 2 around 8:00 a.m. The TTC initially reported that there was one trespasser on the tracks, but police confirmed it was actually three individuals."
"They assisted transit staff in tracking them down, but didn't catch them, according to a statement from Const. Shannon Eames. This delay comes just one day after the TTC reported major problems on multiple routes Monday morning, as a result of Sunday's record-setting snowstorm. Subway service shut down between several stations on Lines 1 and 2, and the entire Line 6 the new Finch West LRT service shut down for a few hours."
