2 sent to hospital after hit-and-run collision in North York Saturday | CBC News
"Two people were sent to hospital Saturday evening after a hit-and-run collision in North York. The two vehicle collision happened in the area of Finch Avenue East and Bayview Avenue just before 7 p.m., police said in a post to X. One vehicle flipped on its hood. The other vehicle, a red sedan with a flat tire, fled the scene of the crash, police said."
"The two people sent to hospital suffered non-life threatening injuries. No arrests have been made in connection with the crash as of Sunday morning, a police spokesperson said."
The collision occurred just before 7 p.m. at Finch Avenue East and Bayview Avenue in North York. One vehicle flipped onto its hood after the two-vehicle crash. A red sedan with a flat tire fled the scene following the collision. Two people were transported to hospital Saturday evening with non-life-threatening injuries. Emergency responders attended the scene and provided care before transport. As of Sunday morning, no arrests had been made in connection with the crash. Investigators are working to identify the fleeing vehicle and its driver.
