"Ella Del Rosario, Acalanes water polo: The senior scored five goals each in wins over Redwood and Las Lomas, adding five combined assists and three steals across the two games for Acalanes, the No. 2 girls water polo team in the country, according to MaxPreps."
Voting is open for Athlete of the Week covering performances from Sept. 29–Oct. 4. Public display of poll results is capped at 50,000 votes; totals beyond that will be kept internally. Use of bots or other artificial voting methods is prohibited and can result in candidate disqualification or permanent suspension of the poll. Votes by email and votes submitted after Wednesday at 5 p.m. are not counted. Weekly lists of standout candidates are provided and winners are announced each Friday online and in print. Nominations are accepted by email until 11 a.m. each Monday, and coaches' statistics are reviewed.
