The Grizzly Fire, which started on October 6 in Madera County, California, has been burning for 83 days on federal land managed by the Forest Service.
Over the course of 2023, California experienced a staggering 6,746 human-caused fires, resulting in the destruction of 143,265 acres of wildland, as reported by NIFC.
