Redwood City is unveiling a community piano at 500 County Center on March 11, rescheduled from November. The piano, titled "Living the Life" and painted by artist Christine Ong-Dijcks, is the second of three planned installations by the Redwood City Improvement Association's Sights, Sounds & Tastes Campaign. The artwork celebrates nature and community gatherings in Redwood City. Separately, Santa Clara County Civil Grand Jury is recruiting civic-minded residents for 2026-27 service. The independent investigatory body examines county and city government operations, school districts, and public agencies. Grand jurors review records, evaluate programs, inspect facilities, and issue recommendations promoting ethical governance. Applications are due March 27.
