Shannon O'Connor, 51, is on trial in San Jose facing 20 felony child endangerment-related counts and 43 misdemeanor counts alleging she furnished alcohol to minors. Prosecutors allege she hosted boozy, raucous parties where teens were pressured to drink and were goaded into performing inebriated and nonconsensual sexual acts with attending girls. Opening statements began Dec. 1 and the trial is expected to last months, potentially into March. Witness testimony has focused on messages, group texts and Snapchat interactions used to pry into teens' sexual lives and to coordinate parties and pressure on victims.
