A double homicide investigation is underway in Clearlake following a traffic stop by the California Highway Patrol. Officers attempted to pull over a Chevrolet Suburban with expired registration. The vehicle stopped, and one individual fled on foot. Upon investigation, a dead body was found inside the car, and a second victim was later discovered down an embankment off State Route 175. Both victims are from Sonoma County, and two suspects have been arrested and are being held without bail.
