"Deputies were dispatched to the 100 block of Iris Lane around 10:45 p.m. Friday for a report of a suspect who had "discharged and brandished" a gun before driving away, the San Mateo County Sheriff's Office said in a news release Monday. There were no reports of injuries or property damage. Witnesses provided descriptions of the teen and his car, which deputies later found on Highway 92."

The 17-year-old was arrested on suspicion of assault with a semi-automatic firearm, brandishing, negligent discharge, evading a peace officer and driving under the influence.
