"Our hearts made heavy. Our hearts have been grieving because of loss of innocent lives,"
"No family deserves to endure such trauma, loss or senseless violence,"
"These animals walked in and shot children at a children's birthday party. None of us should stand for that. If you know anything about this, you have to come forward and tell us what you know,"
"I've prayed all night. I've been at the hospital till early this morning with the families praying,"
A mass shooting at a child's birthday party in Stockton left four people dead, including three children ages 8, 9 and 14, and injured 11 others. The shooting occurred at a banquet hall during a birthday celebration. About 150 community members and faith leaders gathered Sunday to pray for victims, families, and the city. Pastors reported grieving and spending the night at hospitals with affected families. Authorities said one injured person remains in critical condition while others are stable. Local leaders urged anyone with information to come forward to help bring the suspected shooter or shooters to justice.
