Southern California players named to McDonald's All-American games

The 2025 McDonald's All-American basketball games' teams were announced, highlighting strong representation from Southern California. Key selections for the boys' team include Alijah Arenas, Brayden Burries, Nikolas Khamenia, and Tounde Yessoufou, reflecting their prowess in high school basketball. Notably, Khamenia and Burries lead the top two teams in the region. For the girls' game, players like Addison Deal, Aliyahna Morris, and Grace Knox were recognized for their achievements. This continues the trend of success for CIF programs, contributing to a total of 14 selections since 2016.
Congrats to every player that worked hard to make the 2025 McDonald's All-American Game (April 1, Brooklyn) 4 players from CIF programs plus two from Prolific Prep, which gives The Crew 1⃣4⃣ selections since 2016.
Khamenia and Burries are the standout players for the No. 1 and No. 2 teams in Southern California, respectively.
