South Bay car chase ends in arrest of two East Bay men
"Just before 3 a.m., officers encountered a blue Dodge Charger SRT Hellcat on East Dunne Avenue, according to the Morgan Hill Police Department. The car, police added, did not have a license plate and was heading toward Sorrel Way. The driver did not stop when officers tried to pull him over, police said. Officers pursued the Dodge and used "stop sticks" to puncture the tires of the car as it got onto northbound Highway 101."
"The chase continued onto northbound Highway 85, police said. The Dodge, which was traveling on severely damaged wheels at that point, then exited at Santa Teresa Boulevard in San Jose. Police said officers finally managed to bring the car to a stop as it headed back onto the highway in the wrong direction. The driver, an Oakland man, and his passenger, an Antioch man, abandoned the Dodge, police said. Officers quickly caught the driver,"
