Solar worker takes panels off wrong Bay Area house; 2 years later, they're still stacked in yard
""Knocked on our door, nobody was home, so nobody answered," said Chris."
""I just couldn't fathom in a million years that someone would go up and take something off of my house," said Shana."
""They drove into the cul-de-sac, saw our solar up on the roof, assumed that was the house... and actually started taking off the solar panels. Just, you don't ever expect that to happen, right?" said Chris."
""We made a mistake and we absolutely admit that we trespassed on your property without permission and removed your existing pool so"
Chris and Shana Eso were traveling out of state when a neighbor called to report someone had entered their property without permission. A workman arrived at their cul-de-sac, knocked on the wrong door, then went around back, climbed a ladder, and removed the pool solar panels from the Eso roof. The panels were stacked in the backyard and empty mounting brackets remained on the roof. The worker had been contracted to remove panels from a neighbor's house but incorrectly targeted the Eso residence. Diablo Solar Services' owner Bryan Raymond apologized and admitted the company trespassed and removed the panels in error.
