""They were in Christmas cards, but all of the stuff that they were putting in it were stuff you have been hearing for Antifa," said resident Scott Ungar."
""The one over there said a date and they said, 'You've been warned,' like they were warning something is going to happen on a specific date," he said."
""Picked it up, opened it, and it said, 'Dear Santa, I want the head of a Nazi under my tree for Christmas,'" McComas said. "I was like, 'That is a little weird'.""
""I am so confused by that," McComas said. "I am not a heavy conservative. I'm gay, engaged to my fiancé Roger. So, it's just kind of concerning for me because I am like, 'What did I do?'""
A masked person was captured on home security footage placing a letter near a front door and blowing a kiss toward the camera in Yucaipa. Several nearby homes received late-night deliveries of Christmas cards that contained vulgar, menacing and at times threatening messages. One card included a specific date with an apparent warning. A recipient found a card addressed to Santa that demanded "the head of a Nazi" under a Christmas tree. Targets appeared random and not tied to visible political signage. Concerned residents contacted police, who reviewed security footage of the deliveries.
