"When officers arrived, the driver had left the site, but police said he was found at a nearby home and arrested on suspicion of vehicular manslaughter and felony hit and run. Police did not identify the driver in a news release issued Wednesday. Sunday's collision marked the city's 22nd traffic death of the year, and the 12th to involve a pedestrian who died."
