
"BURGLARY: 3:06 p.m. on Hamsher Court. A suspect tried to open the caller's garage door but was unsuccessful. The caller observed no damage to the garage or the door. SUSPICIOUS PERSON: 5:46 p.m. on Ferris Avenue. A caller said that their daughter and her friend were riding bikes when someone in a black sedan started following them. The children tried to lose the car by riding onto a side street, but the car followed them there as well."
"PETTY THEFT: 4:46 p.m. at La Rinconada Country Club on Clearview Drive. A wallet was stolen from a white 2019 Acura RDX. There were no signs of forced entry, although the caller said he had locked his car. The stolen silver wallet contained three credit cards, an ATM card, a driver's license, AAA card and $100 cash along with insurance cards."
On Jan. 16 at 3:06 p.m. a suspect attempted to open a garage door on Hamsher Court but failed and caused no damage. Later that day at 5:46 p.m. a black sedan reportedly followed two juveniles riding bikes on Ferris Avenue onto a side street; the sedan was occupied by a male driver and a passenger and police were unable to locate the car. On Jan. 17 a white Tesla Model X was stolen from a parking lot at Bay Club Courtside with the keys inside. Also on Jan. 17 a wallet was stolen from a locked 2019 Acura RDX; the silver wallet contained multiple credit cards, an ATM card, a driver’s license, an AAA card, insurance cards and $100 cash, and the cards were later used at Oakridge Mall. On Jan. 18 two pairs of juveniles stole bottles of alcohol from Safeway; the store requested video footage and will prosecute if suspects are found.
