
"Around 10:15 a.m., San Mateo County Sheriff's deputies arrested and charged a 24-year-old Redwood City resident on suspicion of attempted homicide, carjacking, resisting arrest and possession of drug paraphernalia. The deputies responded to a stabbing in the area of Bean Hollow Road and Pescadero Creek Road around 1 a.m. They found a man with serious injuries; he was transported to a hospital and is in stable condition."
"Despite setting up a perimeter and using all available resources, including air assets, drones and K-9 units, the suspect was not initially located. However, the deputies were notified of a carjacking near the location of the stabbing. The sheriff's office stated that no weapon was used in the carjacking and no injuries were reported. The deputies found the vehicle and the suspect ran into a heavily wooded area. After that, a shelter in place was issued in the immediate area."
