Freshman Ford Green moved from South Carolina, plays baseball and is an A student; he completed 15 of 18 passes for 218 yards and four touchdowns. First-year head coach Rick Clausen, a former college quarterback and 14-year assistant, praised Green's ability to make checks at the line and manage the game. The win provided confidence and excitement to the players. Westlake faces Agoura on the road Friday night.
