The man was hit by all four shots, and another photo shows both he and his roommate then lying on the ground."
A Santa Clara police officer forced entry after a 911 call and encountered a violent attack at a residence on Eisenhower Drive. Body camera images show a wounded roommate beneath a man who had allegedly stabbed him multiple times with two knives. Officers ordered the attacker to stop; when the suspect raised a knife again and moved it toward the victim, an officer fired four times, striking the attacker. Police report the officer's actions prevented further harm and likely saved at least one life.
