On Friday, officers with the Mountain View Police Department found and detained Curiel in Mountain View. Palo Alto detectives later arrested him."

Through investigation involving Palo Alto Police and the Santa Clara County Probation Department, authorities identified the suspect as 26-year-old John Curiel of San Jose. Mountain View Police located and detained Curiel on Friday, and Palo Alto detectives subsequently arrested him. He was booked into Santa Clara County Main Jail.
