"Museums on Us is a nationwide program through which Bank of America and Merrill Lynch cardholders get free admission to select museums on the first full weekend of every month (Saturday and Sunday). Simply present your active Bank of America® or Merrill Lynch® credit or debit card along with a photo ID to gain one free general admission to any participating institution. Cardholders only; guests are not eligible for free admission. Excludes special exhibitions, ticketed shows, and fundraising events."
The Oakland Museum of California unites art, history, and natural science collections and provides free general admission every first Sunday of the month, with Special Exhibitions in the Great Hall offered at a discounted $6. Sunday hours are 11am to 5pm and may change seasonally. Visitors are encouraged to reserve tickets online to secure preferred entry times, while walk-up tickets are available at the admissions desk. OMCA participates in Blue Star (free admission for military families Memorial Day through Labor Day), Museums on Us (Bank of America and Merrill Lynch cardholders free on the first full weekend), and Museums for All ($1 admission for up to four EBT cardholders).
