"It was usually late at night, and we just chucked it off to animals being under the house," Silva told the station. On Thursday, Nov. 7, the noises got louder, like someone knocking. Police responded at 10:30 p.m. and found a naked man hiding beneath the house, KTLA said. The man refused to come out and had to be forced out with tear gas at about 4:30 am."
"It's a bizarre thing, but it's not probably uncommon, you know, in this day and age, people are looking for shelter," Silva told KNBC. This underlines a growing concern about homelessness and personal safety in communities.
