On Oct. 18 at 2:51 p.m. a gold Toyota sedan hit a black Audi Q5 on Los Gatos-Saratoga Road and North Santa Cruz Avenue; the sedan driver provided an insurance card issued to another car. The Audi driver reported neck pain and was advised by her insurer to file a police report; the sedan driver did not report the crash to his insurance. That night on Ellenwood Avenue a resident heard a rumbling and found a broken door and remained locked in her room until police arrived. Later a woman asking for money and a job at Safeway was cited and released. On Oct. 19 neighbors reported persistent loud quacking from ducks, and a separate single-vehicle crash on Hicks Road left a BMW with all airbags deployed.
