Two Los Angeles Police Department officers negligently used deadly force when they shot and killed Oscar Leon Sanchez, who was having a mental breakdown as he was confronted by police in his South L.A. home earlier this year, according to a lawsuit filed by his family.Leon Sanchez, 35, was unclear what was happening when the officers came into his home on Jan. 3, his family said, and shot him in his living room.
