Authorities received reports of shots fired in the Kelseyville Riviera area near Highway 29 and Point Lakeview Road, but no suspect was found there. Investigators were then alerted to a road-rage shooting in Calistoga on the 1000 block of Dunaweal Lane, where a 38-year-old man allegedly shot a woman in the face and fled down Highway 29. Napa County deputies located the suspect vehicle using license-plate reader cameras near St. Helena and used a PIT maneuver to disable the vehicle and make an arrest. After being taken into custody, the suspect reportedly told detectives he committed a murder in Lake County. Detectives conducted a welfare check at a residence in Kelseyville Riviera and found an adult female deceased. The suspect was booked on murder and torture-related charges.
"Authorities were first alerted to an unfolding situation around 8:30 am Friday, in the area of Highway 29 and Point Lakeview Road, in the Kelseyville Riviera area of Lake County. The Lake County Sheriff's Office says they received word of shot fired in that area, but found no suspect there when they arrived. As the investigation began, the sheriff's office was alerted to another incident in Calistoga, and the subsequent arrest of a suspect, 38-year-old Coleman Guy Rocheleau."

The victim has not yet been publicly named pending next-of-kin notification, and it's not clear what the woman's relationship to Rocheleau may be."
