Nassau County police reported that the two men entered the gas station and began the robbery at 2:30 a.m. Saturday before fleeing the scene in a Ford Fusion with cash and other items."
"While police attempted to stop the Fusion, it struck a curb on Ocean Parkway and was disabled, police said. After being arrested and hospitalized for minor injuries, the men refused to identify themselves to police, police said. Monday morning, police confirmed that the men still had not identified themselves."
"Police said a gun was recovered in the Fusion and that the Fusion had been reported stolen. The men are now charged with first-degree robbery, second-degree criminal possession of a weapon, third-degree criminal possession of stolen property and second-degree reckless endangerment, police said."
