He told police he had sexually assaulted others and said, "I am not fit for society if keep doing s like this," according to court records. He was sentenced to four years in 2009 and required to register as a sex offender. After further arrests he was convicted of elder abuse in 2023 and 2024 and is accused of beating 49-year-old Leslie Marshall, who died Feb. 2 at a residential hotel in Oakland.
