Although the majority of Thanksgiving travelers are arriving by car,over 1.1 million travelers are expected to depart from California's airports for the holiday, according to AAA's annual travel report, which shows around 32,000 more travelers than this time last year."
"Only three flights into or out of San Francisco International Airport have been canceled on Monday, but the airport has seen 114 delays, according to FlightAware. United Airlines, which accounts for 46% of all flights at SFO, has 28 reported delays, followed by SkyWest, a much smaller regional airline based in St. George, Utah, with 23 delays thus far. Ninety percent of flights from the airport have left on time, according to FlightView."
"Flyers on Southwest Airlines have seen significant delays heading to California. The airline released a travel advisory warning customers that weather conditions in its major hub, Dallas-Fort Worth, may cause delays. A tornado watch is in effect through 7 p.m. Monday in central and southeast Texas, along with severe storms and floods throughout north Texas, according to the National Weather Service."

Oakland recorded 33 delays, mainly Southwest; Sacramento 70 delays (48 on Southwest); San Jose 45 delays (21 on Southwest); LAX 185 delays and nine cancellations.
