Gov. Newsom visits Modesto area to dedicate first new California state park since 2009

Dos Rios Ranch State Park opens June 12, with picnic tables,trails, benches, restrooms, and parking. Future enhancements may include a welcome center, campground, and boat ramp.
The park restoration aims to recreate the Valley's pre-dam forest. It's the first public access in over a decade, created with both public and private support.
