As of Monday morning, Cal Fire reported that the Boyles Fire has burned approximately 76 acres, with 30% of the fire now contained. Evacuations have affected around 4,000 residents.
Cal Fire officials noted that the forward progress of the Boyles Fire has not been stopped, and although the total acreage burned decreased from Sunday to Monday, there was no immediate explanation for this change.
