"OAKLAND - A suspect has been arrested and charged after police linked him to a BMW seen fleeing three recent home burglaries where a hodgepodge of unusual items were stolen. The losses from the three burglaries included gold jewelry and electronics, but also some items that are less-commonly targeted by thieves. These includes collectibles - Marvel statues, a 49ers helmet, baseball cards - as well as two urns filled with the ashes of dead dogs, and four pairs of shoes worth an estimated $6,000, according to authorities."
"Sneed was sentenced to federal prison in 2019 for possessing a firearm that had been stolen from a California Highway Patrol officer seven years earlier, court records show. He also served time in prison for shooting a friend in 2013. In that case, the victim shoved the gun away, causing Sneed to shoot him in the shoulder, after Sneed walked up to him, placed the gun to his head, and said, "I want you to know who is killing you," according to prosecutors."
